If you are like us, and believe rosé truly has no season, then you are probably already on a first name basis with Azur and Solace. Both of these wineries have become favorites of Kuvéers for their stylish rosés. The commonalities don't end there. Both share Julien Fayard as their founder and winemaker.

We'll get to know Julien more in a future blog post (stay tuned). For now though, let's get to the good stuff. As one of the first dedicated rosé producers in California, Azur blends French techniques and California fruit, with a commitment to crafting exquisite rosé. Solace also brings French techniques to California fruit, with a focus on creating wines that represent their Napa home, while providing great value for the high quality.

Let's take a sip...

Chic Chardonnay from Napa's famed Carneros region

Solace Chardonnay

Carneros is known for classy Chardonnay. But don't confuse sophistication for being unapproachable, as this wine sings with classic flavors of lemon and apple, highlighted by toasty, nutty flavors from oak aging. If you love a Chardonnay that balances fresh fruit flavors and silky oak influence, this one's for you.

Tastes like: Lemon, Yellow Apple, Almond, Banana

Pair with: Crab Cakes, Avocado and Tuna Roll, Marinated Grilled Shrimp, Grilled Oysters

Alluring, French-inspired Rosé

Azur Rosé

This rosé is produced in the classic "methode provencale" style. The quality grapes and careful winemaking practices translate to a refreshing and aromatic rosé, with clean, zesty fruit flavors. With a glass of this elegant wine in hand, you'll always be in a summer state of mind.

Tastes like: Cherry, Strawberry, Herbal, White Flowers

Pair with: Ahi Tuna Steak, Chicken Salad, Sauteed Greens, Sorbet

Solace Rosé

This easy-going rosé is also produced in the classic "methode provencale" style. Here fresh fruit flavors range from citrus to watermelon, for a thirst-quenching, dry rosé with pure fruit flavor. You can practically taste the California sunshine in every sip.

Tastes like: Grapefruit, Pomegranate, Cherry, Watermelon

Pair with: Brie Cheese, Spring Vegetable Salad, Grilled Asparagus, Roasted Striped Bass

A Napa Cabernet to Savor

Solace Cabernet

This Cabernet exudes Napa's opulent style of powerful flavors, rich texture and a long, rewarding finish. The bold fruit flavors are a true reflection of the cooler climate and volcanic ash soil from the vineyard. Go classic Napa and pour a glass with your next steak.

Tastes like: Blackberry, Black Currant, Vanilla, Baking Spices

Pair with: Aged Cheddar Cheese, Grilled Flank Steak, Hamburger with Pepper Jack Cheese, BBQ Pork Ribs
